At Meritus Health, Registered Radiation Therapists play an essential role in delivering safe, precise, compassionate radiation therapy to patients receiving cancer treatment. Working under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and with the support of the radiation oncology team, you’ll combine technical expertise with patient-centered care to help ensure every treatment is delivered accurately and safely.
Radiation therapy requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in preparing patients, positioning them accurately, operating radiation therapy equipment, executing treatment prescriptions, and monitoring patients throughout their treatment. You’ll also collaborate with Radiation Oncology and Physics staff to support accurate treatment planning and delivery.
