Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join our radiation oncology team. You will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team, assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning, and deliver high doses of ionizing radiation.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree preferred but not required.
  • Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
  • Registered by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
  • State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in all modalities through an accredited radiation program.

Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technology. Our patient safety program - cited as one of the best in the nation - employs quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our patients.

Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology department is currently searching for a full time Radiation Therapist to join their team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be the primary liaison between patients and other members of the radiation oncology team. Therapists assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning and deliver high doses of ionizing radiation.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree preferred but not required.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
  • State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist
  • At least one year of clinical experience in all modalities through an accredited radiation program
Salary Range:

Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
