Baird, Hampton & Brown, Inc. is seeking a full-time, exempt Registered Professional Land Surveyor to lead the Grapevine office’s surveying operations. You will supervise field and office staff, manage projects from proposal to delivery, and ensure compliance with Texas laws and BHB standards.
You will review surveys for accuracy, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor staff while maintaining project budgets and schedules. A Texas RPLS license and strong leadership are essential.

We are currently seeking a full-time, exempt Registered Professional Land Surveyor. The Registered Professional Land Surveyor is responsible for managing the daily surveying activities of the Grapevine office under the direction of BHB’s Vice President of Land Surveying. This position will supervise field and office personnel, manage projects, prepare scopes of work and fee proposals, maintain project schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients, and provide quality assurance and quality control for surveying deliverables. The RPLS will serve as the primary surveying representative within the Grapevine office while working closely with the Fort Worth survey team to ensure compliance with BHB’s department-wide standards, procedures, business objectives, and quality expectations.

This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur. Additionally, extensive computer usage is required daily.
This is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation of working 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning. While the start and end times of the workday can be adjusted, employees are expected to establish and maintain a consistent schedule which must encompass the core business hours of 9am – 4pm. Although overtime is not the norm, it is requested at times to meet our clients’ needs.
