Job Overview: Registered Land Surveyor
The Registered Land Surveyor plays a key role in overseeing the review and certification of plats and other survey documents for recording with local governing agencies. This position works closely with the Project Management Team to define the scope of work, develop fee proposals, establish project schedules, and determine resource requirements necessary to successfully execute each project plan.
Key responsibilities include managing the execution of project plans to ensure alignment with internal and external goals—delivering on profitability, scheduling, quality standards, billing, receivables, staffing needs, team coordination, and overall project performance.
This role requires strong leadership, as the Registered Land Surveyor is responsible for guiding both field and office survey teams toward successful project outcomes. In addition to project oversight, this position is instrumental in upholding project management best practices and supporting the professional growth and development of current and future survey technicians and land surveyors.
