Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Are you a licensed Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) ready to lead high-impact projects across land development, energy, utility, and infrastructure sectors? We’re actively seeking an experienced RPLS to join a top-tier, multi-state land surveying firm with a growing presence in the Houston metro area — a firm known for innovation, professional development, and strong local relationships.

• Conduct and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and right-of-way surveys
• Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, survey documents, and construction staking plans
• Supervise and mentor field crews and junior survey staff
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and planners to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS) and all applicable codes and regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RPLS license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
• 2+ years of post-licensure professional surveying experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, or comparable survey software and field equipment
• Experience in land development, infrastructure, utility corridors, or energy-related projects highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and coordinate with clients and internal teams
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
• Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally with clients
• Comfortable balancing office responsibilities and field operations
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
