Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across age groups, under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. This role emphasizes ALARA and patient-centered care, with a focus on safety and quality imaging.

You will operate imaging equipment, ensure accurate patient identification, and support physicians and radiology staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in a variety of settings while adhering to ALARA principles.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and performs post processing; ensures proper patient identification.
• Assists the Radiologist with procedures and protocols; maintains patient safety and aseptic technique.
