Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to perform and monitor diagnostic sleep testing under appropriate supervision. You will handle patient hook‑ups, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting and scoring in line with AASM guidelines.

Responsibilities include conducting polysomnography and sleep studies (including MSLT/MWT as applicable), providing patient education and follow‑up, and collaborating with the sleep team to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate degree in polysomnography or related field.
• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (NR-PSGT) or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician (NC-PST) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• 2 years of work in an AASM-accredited Sleep Center with testing and PAP titrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform, monitor diagnostic sleep testing following AASM guidelines.
• Hook up patients, interface equipment, monitor, troubleshoot, and score studies.
• Conduct polysomnography and sleep studies including MSLT/MWT as applicable.
• Provide patient follow-up and education as part of care.
