Job summary

Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.

Shift Nightshift; Three 12-hour shifts per week (Monday – Saturday); 6:00 pm – 6:30 am

Job Summary The Registered Polysomnography Technician will provide sleep monitoring and interventions to all patients. The primary responsibilities include registering patients; gathering patient pre-study paperwork; preparing patients and equipment for procedures; explaining procedures and interactions to patients; completing follow-up notes as needed; performing polysomnography studies and analyzing data to assist in obtaining proper diagnosis; entering charges; and cleaning all study equipment. This position will also have some administrative and clerical responsibilities for the department’s daily operations.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities APM , AEHR , EPIC , Phillips Alice 6 Respironics, and G3 software experience preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience Related healthcare and critical care experience preferred.
