Leoforce in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for full-time night shifts in our sleep lab. You will perform overnight polysomnographic studies, monitor patients, and ensure high-quality data collection to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires an active RPSGT credential and BLS/CPR certification, with prior sleep lab experience and strong patient-care skills. You will work independently during night shifts in a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies per protocols and physician orders.

• Identify sleep-related events and physiological changes.
• Score sleep studies and document findings per AASM guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and applying monitoring equipment
• Monitor patients throughout the night, ensuring safety, comfort, and accurate data collection
• Identify and respond to sleep-related events and physiological changes
• Score sleep studies and document findings in compliance with AASM guidelines
• Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support quality patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Active RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) credential required
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior sleep lab or clinical experience
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive during overnight shifts
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Proficiency with sleep study equipment and scoring software

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time role consisting of 8-hour overnight shifts

Independent night shift environment with team support as needed
