Shift 2 / 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM / four 10-hour days with an every-other-weekend rotation

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:

$17.84 - $23.19

Summary

Provides advanced technician support to the Pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and control of medications throughout the facility. Practices as a technician role model and assists in the orientation and training of department personnel as assigned. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies of the health system/pharmacy department.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• GED (Required)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)

Additional Requirements

• 2 years hospital pharmacy experience required

State of Florida Licensure Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician License (Required)

Certifications/Registrations Requirements

• CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) required

Additional Certifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician with the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is required. Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health is required. ExCPT certification may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
