Join to apply for the Registered Pharmacy Technician I - Cape Coral Hospital role at Lee Health.

Location: Cape Coral Hospital - 636 Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral, FL 33990

Department: Retail Pharmacy

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: 1/8:00 AM to 8:15 PM - Must be able to work various shifts between these hours. Will be required to work every other weekend and holidays.

Pay Rate: $16.18 - $21.03/hour (minimum to midpoint)

Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.

Summary

Assists the Pharmacist in preparing, dispensing, distributing, and controlling medications throughout the facility. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and policies.

Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of hospital pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
  • License: Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health required.
  • Certification: CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) with PTCB preferred. Must obtain within 90 days of employment; ExCPT may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Other skills include data entry, pharmaceutical terminology knowledge, and confrontation management skills.
