• Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and adapt to an alternate/overnight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services and indirect patient care under Pharmacy leadership.
• Review medication orders against patient medication profiles for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
• Apply medication safety practices and support the age-specific needs of patients.
• Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and infection control activities.
• Utilize effective clinical decision‑making, resource utilization, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide oversight and direction to Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Transporters.
• Maintain professional accountability, required competencies, and applicable pharmacy licensure requirements.
• Support pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and applicable standards.
