Job summary

Merna Tajaddod Orthodontics in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA (Dental Assistant) to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will assist the Dr.

in preparing the chair, sterilizing instruments, taking and uploading photos, scanners, x-rays, updating charts, and assisting with braces bonding and Invisalign check-ins. Prior orthodontic experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred, especially in orthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dr. with orthodontic tasks and patient care.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA (Dental Assistant) withor without orthodontic experience to join our expanding team. This candidate will assist the Dr. in preforming tasks such as preparing the chair for patients, sterilization of instrument, taking and uploading pictures, scanning using Itero scanner, taking orthodontic x-rays, updating patient charts, braces adjustment and bonding braces for new patients, Invisalign check and bonding attachments and also contribute to office tasks after patient hours. We are looking for a candidate who is ambitious, caring, polite and ready to learn and grow in our office. Although prior orthodontic experience is preferred, we are also willing to train the right candidate as well.

Main responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Work with Dr. to see patients and assist orthodontic tasks
• Assist with oral exams, scans, and x-rays
• Prepare patients for appointments and provide excellent orthodontic care
• Arrange equipment and instruments as directed
• Follow established protocols and sterilization procedures
• Contribute to office record-keeping or lab work as directed

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time

Pay:

$27.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits vary based on full-time or part-time status and will be discussed during the interview process.

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours

Experience:
