Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Cardiovascular Medicine to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families while collaborating with the healthcare team. Michigan RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required; Ambulatory orientation is mandatory; BSN is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.

As an Ambulatory RN you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. This role supports patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clinical competence and effective communication in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred two years RN experience in the specialty
• Knowledge of electrophysiology and cardiac procedures
• IV skills for IV insertions
• Experience with triaging patients over the phone
