Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse Wound Care to lead and coordinate professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care and teaching for patients and family.

The role requires active RN licensure, CWOCN/CWON/WCC credentials or related degree within 2 years, and at least 5 years of nursing experience.

• RN licensure in good standing
• CWOCN/CWON/WCC credentials or equivalent degree to be obtained within 2 years
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN Registered Nurse Licensure
• CWOCN Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, or CWON Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, or WCC Wound Care Certified, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• 5 years experience Required Years of Experience
