Registered Nurse - Wound Care - Full Time

Boro Park Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Wound Care in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing all open wounds in the facility, including cleaning and dressing.
2. Completing admission paperwork accurately.
3. Providing advice and support to residents and their families.
4. Monitoring residents and administering medications and treatments.
5. Documenting resident care services in charts and records.
6. Adhering to infection-control policies to protect residents and staff.
7. Resolving resident issues through multidisciplinary team strategies.
8. Ensuring quality care in line with facility standards and philosophies.
9. Maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
10. Tracking infection control measures and reporting monthly statistics.

Requirements:

• Current NYS State RN License.
• Wound and ostomy certification.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
