Endeavor Health is seeking a registered nurse to float across PICU, NICU, and Mother Baby units at Edward Hospital (Naperville) and Elmhurst Hospital. This full-time night shift offers 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday rotations.

The role requires ICU/Neonatal experience, an Illinois RN license, BLS, PALS, and NRP with BSN within five years. Competitive pay ranges with premium pay for shifts are included.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years PICU/NICU experience required.
• ADN must be followed by BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS within six months of start date.
• NRP certification within six months of start date.

• Employs critical thinking to assess conditions, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights: Will float between Peds PICU, Mother Baby and NICU at Edward Hospital and Special Care Nursery at Elmhurst Hospital.

Locations: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL & Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL. Full Time - 36 hours. Hours: Nights 7 pm-7:30 am and rotating weekend and holiday rotations.

What you will do:

• Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
• The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• One to two years of PICU and NICU experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021).
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current BLS Certification issued by either American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within six months of start date into position.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date into position.
