Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with PICU inpatient experience for multiple locations in Illinois, including Edward Hospital in Naperville. This evergreen application allows consideration for current and future RN openings across our system, with full time night shifts available.

Qualified candidates hold IL RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and PALS, and at least 18 months PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and function as a team member to meet unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

• Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• License:Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education:BSN degree preferred
• Certification:BLS through AHA and PALS certification
• Experience: Minimum of 18 months of recent or current inpatient experience in PICU
