Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Werlein Crisis Stabilization Unit. The RN will administer medications, document patient care, and monitor mental and physical status while supporting a therapeutic environment.

This role requires Texas RN licensure, CPR, and PMAB training within 3 months, plus a valid driver's license. Strong communication and leadership to educate staff are essential, with employer-paid benefits and growth

Registered Nurse (Werlein Crisis Stabilization Unit)

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs various nursing functions to provide care, treatment, and welfare of clients in our services. This includes medication administration, transcription, observation, andreporting of patients' physical and mental status, and documentation of patientcare services. This compassionate, caring, and supportive teammember will connect with individuals to support and provide optimum healthcareand contribute to the overall well-being of members of the community living withmental health challenges.

You will get to:

• Perform nursingfunctions within the scope of the RN license.
• Provide medication,education, training, and support to patients and families in care.
• Participate inestablishing and maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Contribute toseminars and meetings for professional growth and improved communicationwithin the team.
• Provideguidance for the direct care staff to ensure a safe and therapeutictreatment atmosphere.
• Providetraining to the direct care staff regarding essential nursing careinterventions, facility policy and procedure, and management guidelines.
• Observes,oversees, and monitors the use and implementation of Prevention andManagement of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) interventions. Ensures that PMABmethods are implemented appropriately and safely and that all PMABinterventions are documented per policy.
• Ensureinfection control, security, and safety measures are followed.
• Write anddocument articulately while using correct grammar so that documentation isclear and valuable.
• Educate andinstruct individuals served.

You'll definitely need:

• Nursing degree(Associates, Bachelor's, or Master's in Nursing).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment.
• Intermediate toadvanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
