Job summary

MGA Homecare is hiring a Registered Nurse for weekend shifts to provide skilled nursing care for patients requiring G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator support. You will document care per physician orders and the patient’s plan of treatment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

You'll report to Case Managers and the Clinical Nurse Supervisor; training is available to support adherence to MGA policies and nursing care plans.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (must match state of residency)
• Provide copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray
• Provide copy of current CPR certification as per agency policy
• Be flexible, organized and have the ability to exercise independent and sound judgment to perform the job duties/responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Documentation of same on clinical notes, supplemental physician orders and nursing care plan
• Reports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within designated time.
