Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is a Level 2 Emergency Department with 48 beds (44 universal bays and 4 trauma rooms). A Registered Nurse works in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to deliver evidenced-based care and facilitate a positive patient visit experience.

This full-time, 36-hour-per-week day-shift role features a Friday through Sunday schedule. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an ADN (BSN preferred; ADN must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids, if ADN is held, must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidenced-based patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience in the ED.

Position Summary:

Registered Nurse - RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse - RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school program
• Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• BLS AHA Certification
• 3 + years of recent (within 6 months) acute care experience in area of specialty.
