Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Michigan is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC must be completed within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health.
• Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan.
• Collaborate with the patient, family and caregivers to implement the plan.
• Evaluate and document the patient’s progress.

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence‑based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Position Purpose

Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Department at Grand Haven Hospital.

What you will need

• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan, BSN preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
• TNCC within 12 months of hire

What you will do

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situation
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situation
• Collaborate with the person, family significant others and caregivers as appropriate to implement the plan
• Evaluate and document patient’s progress
