McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Hospice department. The role focuses on delivering high quality, safe, and efficient care for nursing, home health aides, rehab and office staff, following regulatory and accreditation standards.
You will interpret diagnoses for patients and families, communicate changes to physicians and supervisors, and contribute to policy development to improve organizational efficiency.

Position Summary:
Promotes high quality, safe, efficient and effective care for nursing, home health aides, rehab and office staff. Follows organizational, professional regulatory and accrediting body policies, requirements, standards and guidelines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1.Assists with the development of policies and procedures to ensure organizational efficiencies as appropriate.
2.Interprets to the patient and family the implications of the diagnosis and nature of the treatment, consistent with the Physician’s instruction.
3.Notifies physician and Clinical Supervisor of changes in patient condition.
