Job summary

William Penn Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for weekend Baylor shifts. The RN will lead patient care planning, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with federal and state standards while collaborating with the Director of Nursing and physicians.

The role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills, with responsibilities including admissions/discharges and maintaining care plan integrity.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience with skilled nursing care standards and procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide staff.

Responsibilities

• Address and respond to concerns from residents' families.
• Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise and counsel nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure unit compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and physicians for resident care planning.
• Complete admission and discharge assessments.
• Audit changes to care plans and ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address and prevent concerns from family members.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and adjusting patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise and counsel nursing staff to ensure the highest quality care possible.
• Ensure their unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care.
• Complete admission and discharge assessments.
• Oversee and audit changes made to care plans.
