  • Provides direction and consultation in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervisor and document care and teaching of patients and family.

  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient information to health care team.

  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

  • Provides remote consultative and supportive nursing care utilizing in room camera and technology from a remote location.

  • Collaborates with providers and nurses to provide timely intervention for critically ill patients to achieve optimal patient outcomes.


* Position: 36 hours per week


* Shift: Midnights 12 Hour Shifts


* Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
* Benefits: Full time benefit package



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:



  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a critical care nurse required (Adult ICU exp preferred).

  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

  • Requires current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; ACLS, BLS.

  • CCRN preferred.
