Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse with vascular access expertise to provide high-level nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The Vascular Access RN brings expanded clinical knowledge for the patient population served and supports procedures such as PICC/mid-line access.

Must hold a Texas nursing license or be eligible, with BSN/MSN preferred and 5+ years RN experience (2+ years IV management preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN or MSN degree preferred.
• Current PICC or Mid-line catheter certification.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 5+ years RN experience; at least 2 years IV management preferred.
