Job summary

VillageMD in Purchase, NY seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide bedside care, education, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes accurate charting, IV therapy, and participant-centered patient education within a fast-paced clinic setting.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in NY, with CCU/ICU exposure, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills to support optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• New York State RN License required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Critical Care experience required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months.
• Vascular/surgical experience highly preferred.
• EMR experience is a strong plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and monitors changes in the physical and psycho/social needs of patients using the nursing process.
• Educates and counsels patient and/or caregiver with provisions for follow-up.
• Prepares the patient for and assists in complex procedures and treatments.
• Administers and documents all medications including IV therapy accurately.
• Provides clinical direction to the support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants).
• Responds to emergencies as needed; checks code cart weekly; stocks supplies as needed.

Job Description

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

OFFICE VISITS:

• Stocks supplies as needed

Pay Range

$43.61 - $54.52 Hourly

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.
