The successful candidate:

RN - Evergreen (Various Opportunities for Current or Future Openings)

FT; 8, 10 or 12 Hour Shift Options Available

Provides the Mother Standard of care to oncology patients across the adult and geriatric spectrum. Develops and implements individualized care plans utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Inspires and guides other qualified team members to ensure optimal outcomes through effective delegation and independent judgment. Addresses physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs, coordinating care with healthcare professionals, support persons, and team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care for medical/surgical, ambulatory, and same-day surgery patients. Assist with procedures and direct care delivered by team members.
  • Adhere to infection control policies including hand hygiene, asepsis, and isolation practices.
  • Communicate effectively with peers to resolve conflicts.
  • Assist in onboarding new staff.
  • Protect patient dignity, rights, and privacy.
  • Delegate tasks according to the Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.
  • Assess patient knowledge levels.
  • Accurately document nursing care, implants, and specimens.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as applicable.
  • Maintain competencies and pursue professional growth.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Current State RN license
  • BSN required or enrolled within 6 months, completed within 3 years of hire
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 1-3 years bedside RN experience preferred
  • Oncology experience preferred
