Qualifications

• Current RN license in TN.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification (current).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinic or surgical setting.

• Conduct nursing assessments and patient triage, both in-person and via phone.
• Assist in minor office procedures (e.g., anoscopy, wound care, drain management).
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, pre- and post-op instructions, ostomy care, and medication management.
• Coordinate preoperative testing, imaging, and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control initiatives as required.

Position Summary

The RN will work closely with colorectal surgeons and the care team to coordinate and provide nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
