Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an RN Unit Coordinator for Burn Trauma, Intermediate Care – Medical/Surgical Unit in Norfolk, VA. This role offers 36 hours per week with the Weekend Days shift to support our inpatient units.

The RN ensures proficient nursing practice in the specialty area, leads safety and quality initiatives under the department manager, and helps develop staff while focusing on efficient workflows and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• BSN required or MSN preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 18 months of relevant nursing experience required.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) required or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) preferred

Certification & Licensure

• Registered Nursing License (Required)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

• 18 months of relevant nursing experience required
