Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire or within 30 days.
• ACLS/NRP/ENPC etc. certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
