Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our triage team in Vero Beach. You will handle patient phone calls, coordinate with the Head Nurse and physicians, and help identify patient needs and appropriate care paths.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Triage Nurse answers incoming phone calls regarding patients. Consults with Head Nurse and/or physician to present patient’s problem and resolve the problem or direct calls to appropriate person.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.

• Current CPR certification. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
