Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a qualified pediatric RN to provide specialized home health care for a 7-year-old with G-tube, trach, and ventilator needs. The role emphasizes focused, one-on-one nursing in the home with clinical support when required.

The ideal candidate will have pediatric home health experience, Florida RN licensure, and BLS CPR. Spanish-English bilingual abilities are preferred to support the family’s communication and care planning.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.
• BLS CPR certification (in-person).
• G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train.
• TB Skin Test or TB Blood Test.
• Alzheimer's training – 2 hour DOEA approved course.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one pediatric home health care for a 7-year-old with G-tube, tracheostomy and ventilator needs.
• Deliver safe, family-centered care with autonomy and clinical support as needed.
• Build consistent relationships with the child and family and apply focused clinical judgment.
• Support effective communication in a bilingual (Spanish-English) family context.

Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Home Health

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate pediatric nurse to provide individualized care for a 7-year-old client requiring G-tube, Tracheostomy and Ventilator management. The ideal candidate will have pediatric nursing experience, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing safe, supportive, and family-centered care. Spanish-English bilingual candidates are preferred to support effective communication with the client's family.

Requirements

• Current, active Florida RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train

• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
