We are currently seeking an experienced:

REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Full-Time, Nights (7a-7p)

Job Description:

1. Ensure high-quality nursing care for patients by following physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
2. Administer medications (oral, s.q., I.M., I.V.) as prescribed and according to policies.
3. Supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
4. Assist physicians during rounds as needed.
5. Care for patients during MD rounds, physical exams, and treatments.
6. Perform scheduled treatments and document appropriately, maintaining infection control.
7. Follow all regulations regarding cleanliness and infection control.
8. Support research related to nursing care quality, as assigned.
9. Assist with records, orders, and assessments for new admissions and ensure timely physicals.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active North Carolina RN license.
2. Current CPR certification.
3. Commitment to quality patient care, interest in geriatric nursing.
4. Attend required in-service training and meetings.
5. Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff.
6. Dependable, flexible, patient, and tactful in interactions with staff, patients, and families.
7. Decision-making skills regarding nursing problems, understanding the importance of accuracy.
