Qualifications

• Expérience en soins en télémétrie ou PCU/ICU requise.

• Compétence en interprétation des EKGs et des tracés de télémétrie.

Responsibilities

• Assurer les soins aux patients en télémétrie 12 heures de nuit.
• Participer aux procédures telles que l'insertion de IV et le maintien de tube thoracique.
• Travailler en collaboration avec l'équipe de soins pour optimiser l'expérience patient.

Job description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

Position Details:

• Discipline: RN
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Qualifications: Cardiac Telemetry or PCU / ICU experience. Must have experience with post-cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.

Procedures performed on unit: IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions.

Unit Specifics:

• Staffing: Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary, and PCTs.
• Equipment: Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, Dinamap in each room, Welch Allen Vital Machines, Wound Vacs, Temporary Pacemakers, Telemetry monitor, EKG Machine, Bladder Scanner, Doppler, IMobile for communication.
• Work hours: Full-time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period.
• Floating policy: Contract Nurses will be floated to areas where they have demonstrated competency.

Patient Experience: Must align with our goals by treating every patient with courtesy and respect, responding to call lights, involving patients in bedside reports, and teaching patients how to use communication devices.
