Provides direct nursing care in a telemetry department, following established policies and protocols. Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and recording patient care plans and conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and executing physician and nursing orders. Assesses and manages patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with a diploma from an accredited nursing program. At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is required. Certifications include BLS (obtained within 30 days of hire) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Must hold a valid RN license, either compact or state-specific, prior to starting.
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
