Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices based on the latest evidence, policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and personalized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, colleagues, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safety.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations electronically at the point of care.
• Provide patient and family education to promote health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• BSN in progress or willing to obtain within three years of hire.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience or participation in our new grad nurse residency program.
• Telemetry certification is advantageous.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, demonstrate accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and a passion for high-quality patient care.
