Job summary

Baptist Health Paducah is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7P-7A) on a 41-bed intermediate care unit. The unit provides care for medical-surgical patients with cardiac dysrhythmias and related conditions requiring cardiac monitoring.

The RN coordinates nursing care, teaches patients and families, and demonstrates leadership by collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain high professional standards in a demanding clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky Board of Nursing is required.
• Experience in medical-surgical care and cardiac monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership with the care team.
