Job summary

NurseDeck Inc in California Richmond is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. You will assess patients, interpret rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in condition as part of a multidisciplinary team in a telemetry unit.

You will monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, administer medications, educate patients and families, document care in EMR, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care

Qualifications

• 1 year of telemetry or step-down unit experience (within last 3 years).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of care.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Completed Basic Arrhythmia course.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to abnormalities.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per hospital protocols.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about treatment and recovery.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control procedures and hospital guidelines.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Document patient care accurately and timely using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control procedures and hospital guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a telemetry or step-down unit.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
