Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool RN to join our team in Connecticut. This role requires a skilled nurse who can provide high-quality patient care while floating between Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med-Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, assess cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
  
  

Shift Details

• 12-hour Night Shift (12N)
• Must be flexible to float between MS and Tele units as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• ACLS & BLS certifications (Required)
• No CT license required at the time of application must apply before the offer is accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and multitasking skills.
