Position Overview

The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and reporting patient conditions. The RN collaborates with the care team, advocates for patients, and ensures ethical and professional practice within their scope.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization skills.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions.
• Advocate for patients and practice ethically and professionally.
• Maintain clinical competency and complete required education within specified timeframes.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document thoroughly in EMR.
• Promote evidence-based practices and participate in unit councils and staff meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nursing Program.
• Current NYS RN licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior patient care and customer service experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.

Physical Requirements

• May require lifting up to 50 lbs, sitting or standing for extended periods, and operating necessary equipment.

Location and Compensation

• Onsite position.
• Pay range: $34.75 to $42.00 per hour.
