Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care across a range of hospital units, including Med/Surg, Stepdown, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients requiring specialized judgment and skill based on knowledge of nursing sciences and humanities.
• Float throughout the hospital to various units to support staffing and assist in assignments on an adhoc basis.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adapt quickly to different nursing unit protocols and patient populations.
• Maintain and apply clinical knowledge and skills necessary for quality care in diverse settings.

• Provide practice excellence through specialized assessment, care, evaluation, and education to patients and families.
• Promote evidence‑based practice by developing, implementing, and evaluating process standards such as plans of care, protocols, and guidelines.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – RN.

Minimum 2 years experience in acute care, 2 years in general nursing or clinical practice, and 2 years in a patient care environment.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support – American Heart Association (may be required after start)

Supervision Provided by this Position

The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units.
