Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Stepdown unit in Cape Girardeau. In this role, you will provide complex post-surgical care, closely monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications, and manage wounds and drains.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans and educate patients and families. We support safe discharge and ongoing clinical education in a team-based environment that values

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care or step-down experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-surgical care and monitor patients.

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to plan care.
