Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a mixed unit across General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This full-time role (36 hours/week) shifts 7pm–7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays, delivering safe, compassionate care and coordinating with the clinical team to optimize outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within four

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; must graduate with BSN within five years if ADN highest.
• RN Diploma Nurse if start date before Sep 1, 2021.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within four years of start date.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

What you will do:

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

Required Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and/or Experience:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing,
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
  • Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfatheredOR
• RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
