CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage care for medical and surgical patients. You will assess conditions, administer meds, monitor vitals, and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required: nursing program graduation and active MO RN license; BLS within 90 days; prior nursing experience preferred. This day-shift role offers 36 hours weekly and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
