Job summary

LUMERA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Waco, TX seeks a Registered Nurse dedicated to compassionate, high-quality patient care and education for patients and families on prevention and healthy habits.

In this role you will monitor patients, interpret symptoms, collaborate on care plans, administer medications, and assist with procedures, while upholding health and safety standards and ensuring excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a registered nurse.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill inpatient’s charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medications and provide treatments according to the physician’s orders.
• Inspect the facilities and maintain hygiene and safety; decontaminate equipment, sanitize surfaces, prepare beds.
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Expand their knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Job Description

We're looking for a RegisteredNurse to care for our patients with compassion and one who can facilitate their speedy recovery.The candidate will be responsible for educating them and theirfamilies on prevention methods and healthy habits.
