We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for Surgery Scheduling (in‑office position) to join us in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full‑time position, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Position requires utilization of clinical knowledge to schedule appropriate procedures/surgeries per provider’s orders. The Surgical Scheduler must schedule office‑based and hospital procedures consistent with the patient’s diagnosis and procedure request. Also requires excellent customer service skills with patients, employees, and the public. The Surgical Scheduler must respond to both written and oral correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations in a timely, accurate manner. Individual must be organized and manage a demanding workload with accuracy.
Qualified candidates will be required to have one year experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OB/GYN setting and a degree from an accredited nursing program, a current Indiana certification as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification. Knowledge of CPT coding, lab‑specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.
