Mercy Clinic Springfield - Surgery Center in Springfield, MO seeks an RN OR Circulator to join a full-time team. The position offers a steady day schedule and opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care across age groups, planning, implementation, and coordination with anesthesia, nursing leadership, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes. Missouri RN licensure required; AHA Healthcare Provider credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in hiring state or compact licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or equivalent.

• Provide direct patient care across age groups with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor and coordinate patient care with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Operate within established nursing practice guidelines and Mercy policies.

Overview

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education: Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Other certifications as required by role
