Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join the perioperative team. You will perform comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments, support workflow, and provide patient-centered nursing care across the perioperative continuum.

The role requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and preferably ACLS within 90 days of hire, with an Associate's degree in nursing and a willingness to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia

How you'll contribute

• Performs thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure safe patient care

• Provides age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process

What we're looking for

• Current North Carolina or compact state RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• One year of Operating Room RN experience preferred; new-to-OR candidates may be considered based on overall experience

Schedule

Typical hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, plus 1-2 call shifts per week.
