Job summary

Empire Care Centers in Georgia is seeking an RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate care, and supervise LPNs and CNAs.

You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Unit Manager to plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive nursing program, lead interdisciplinary care planning, and drive quality improvement and reporting for QM/QI metrics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Georgia RN license.
• 2–3 years RN experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising LPNs and CNAs.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary care planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON and Unit Manager with staffing decisions and staff orientation.
• Provide clinical leadership and plan, organize, and implement nursing programs.
• Lead nursing care delivery to meet organizational goals at the center.
• Ensure accurate communication and compliance among nurses, CNAs, and medical staff.
• Initiate and participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• Prepare reports on Quality Measures and Quality Indicators and monitor trends.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and education planning.

Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

At Empire Care Centers, we understand the importance of providing exceptional care to our residents. We're seeking an RN Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing – Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hires, and orients professional staff.

• Clinical Leadership – the RN Supervisor Works with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program

• Provides Nursing Leadership to meet the goals of the organization and the individual center

• Works with the DON to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.

• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.

• The RN Supervisor ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.

• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.

• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplines

• Prepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve the quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.

• Active involvement in Quality Improvement.

• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.

Requirements:

• License valid in the GA state
